How to share a internet connection in a network?

Hi. I have a small network at home. a network with 2 PC. my PC connects directly to an ADLS modem via ethernet. I wanna share this connection in my home network.
another computer in my network uses winXP.
note: my modem configured for PPPoE. I mean I dont use bridge mode.
how can I share my connection?
I use Opensuse 11.

ICS - openSUSE

Chrysantine has shown you to a config for a Suse server. There are other configs too – FFI follow link.

I would really recommend spending the money to obtain a router/gateway, which
will handle the PPPoE connection and allow any number of systems in your home
to connect. The units may also come with wireless. These options would
allow your friends to connect to your network when they visit, as an example.

Some brand-names… linksys, dlink, netgear, belkin, … there are others,
but those are the one’s I’ve used in the past, and have a very nice dlink
router in place now.

This is about the only time I’d ever recommend that someone spend money to
resolve an issue. The units shouldn’t be very expensive for models without
wireless capability, and not too much more for those with wireless.
