I’ve [finally] recently migrated from Ubuntu; and just want to say, “thanks!”

anyone using opensuse and nginx?

nginx is pretty vanilla and I see no reason why it wouldn’t work on openSUSE. So any experiences you read about nginx on other Linux distros would apply to openSUSE too. Of course you may have to do kernel tuning for your workload.
