Hi there!! this should be my first post, I’m trying to setup a Opensuse 11.4 with NO-IP DDNS so I could access it from outside, but I can’t find any how to, that can help me install the NO-IP updater. Please any one could Help me with that, I have googled it a lot but found no solution.
I have not tried this with openSUSE, but I found lots of online links for it here:
No-IP - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quick HOWTO : Ch19 : Dynamic DNS - Linux Home Networking
No-IP Dynamic DNS Help and Support | Installing the Linux Dynamic Update Clie…
These are just a sample of my finding using this to search “NO-IP DDNS Linux” and so perhaps there is something there you can use.
Thank You,
Hi
So are you connecting to the internet via a router? If so some can be configured for this.
Do you have some more information on the NO-IP updater is it a script to install, rpm?
At the download page for linux it says for ubuntu you can just type #apt-get install noip2 and for others distros you get a tar.gz file.
