Is there a way to do this? I think a lot of my posts (and other questions I’d like to have asked) could be answered with a simple search. The problem is that the forum search engine gives results of ORing the search words, instead of ANDing (as I think most people would expect). Thus if I search for “mouse button”, I get all posts that have either the word ‘mouse’ or the word ‘button’ (usually a very large number, almost all of which are irrelevant), rather than the much smaller number of potentially useful posts that have both words.

something like “mouse AND button” (without the quotes) seems to work. A
lot of people also use Google with a “site:forums.opensuse.org” parameter.

I tried the latter today. I tried:
"Power-Off" site: http://forums.opensuse.org
… and got some answers from our forums, but others from mail list,
from ubuntu, from codeverge.com… Apparently it has to be:
"Power-Off" site:forums.opensuse.org
The “no space” is important. However, I’m unable to search for the exact
string Power-Off, with the dash. “Power-Off” makes no difference.
