How to run commands automatically as root when boot ?

Here is one such option: systemd and using the after.local script in openSUSE 12.1 - Blogs - openSUSE Forums , You can add commands to the after.local file once the bash script is run just once. I have another bash script useful in editing system files owned by root: SYSEdit - System File Editor - Version 1.00 - Blogs - openSUSE Forums
