How to remove unneeded downloaded packages?

Hey guys, I installed openSUSE on a 30gb partition, and since that isn’t a lot I was wandering if there is a way to delete all of the downloaded .rpm packages that the updater downloaded. In Ubuntu there is a program called Ubuntu tweak that makes it really easy. Is there a similar program for openSUSE?

Thanks!

zypper clean

Wow, that was easy. You guys are a life saver! Thanks! openSUSE is turning out to be a pretty good distro! Can’t wait till 12.3 comes out!

Why do you ask here in the How To /Faq subforum???

It says in a big font above:

Please don’t ask product questions here.

And it says:

This forum is NOT for asking questions, but contains submissions to be reviewed and potentially moved to the How To/FAQ area…

Please do not make a mess of these forums!

This is CLOSED and will be moved to IInstall/Boot/Login.

moved from Unreviewed Howto/FAQ and open again.

Keep these links bookmarked or download those pdfs if you want to master zypper. Sometimes, not always zypper can be more handy than YaST .

Sorry to have caused any trouble :frowning:

Thank you

You are welcome. Also use the option -u when removing packages using zypper. I cleans up dependencies.
su -
zypper rm -u <packagename>

Then again YaST does that automatically for you
