How to put the control icon of windows to left in gnome under 12.3?
I have tried to set it in dconf , but it does not work .
What is the matter?

Hi
You need to do it via the overrides setting, fire up dconf-editor and
then browse to org->gnome->shell->overrides->button-layout and move the
colon as required;


:close <- close button on window right
close: <- close button on window left
