how to partition a ibook that has been formated?

Hi, I have a ibook 366MHz 192MB ram and want to know how to repartition the hard drive from the partitioner? I tried to install ubuntu and formated the whole hard drive using LVM now when I try to use the partition in opensuse 11.1, it wont let me. I am using net installer and I selected KDE.

I have a MAC and it looks like Gparted if for PC.

I have a ibook MAC, the Gparted say i386. I think thats for PC.
I could be wrong.
