How to overwrite the system path linux. Any startup script is there, where we can add application path such that we can run it automatically.
I think in windows we have the facility to do that.

sorry, i do not understand what you are trying to do…
are you just wanting to autostart a certain program (or several)
during boot up, every time?
that can be done without a startup script or a path change…
for example, if you want ProgramX to start each time KDE starts you
just drop a link to that executable in YOUR home directory’s
…kde/Autostart, that is in /home/[user id]/.kde/Autostart…
it is as easy in Gnome, but i don’t know exactly where/how…
on the other hand, if you need something to start BEFORE KDE or Gnome
then there are other way (also not needed either a script nor path
change…

perhaps a path change and script is the Windows[tm] way to do what
you wanna do (i don’t have a clue) but, while we may not do it that
way, i’m SURE we can do it (probably several ways)…just tell us
what you wanna do, rather than ask how to do it here, like you used
to do it there…
