I don’t have GNOME, but perhaps it’s similar to KDE where the setting is atConfigure Desktop > Power Management > Energy Savings > On AC Power >

Change the setting to “Turn off screen”.
Hope that’s helpful.
Hi caprus,
I run:
gnomesu gnome-tweak-tool
and do settings on When laptop lid is closed, but the setting do not take effect when I clode my laptop lid. The system still suspend when the laptop lid is closed.
Thanks.

Hi
You don’t use gnomesu, that will play with the root user account, just
run the tweak tool as your user and adjust as required.
