How to mute openSUSE_News notifications?

I started to see posts from “News posting bot”. Apparently these messages to not have any category and I cannot mute them. Please assign these messages to “News and Announcements” category where they belong for proper management.

There was one of those this morning. I added it to the “New and Announcements” category. Hmm, it has been switched back to “uncategorized.”

Note to @hellcp - can this be automated?

Lets see if I fixed it, it is set to automate the category, maybe a glitch in the system somewhere…

No. Just got new notification for a post without categories.

Yup, we need to manually mute, which has been done…

This post hasn’t shown up in the News section of the forum.

I assume you are referring to the one linked by @arvidjaar

It is really from 2010, so is very stale. When we see those, we unlist them so that they don’t show up in categories. But moderators can still see such posts, and I’m guessing that forum searches might find them.

Well, now there is one from today (Tumbleweed Snapshots Update Mesa, Remmina, More) again without categories.

Apologies.

That showed up as unlisted. I changed to listed, because it was new. But I forgot to check whether it was categorized. I see that @malcolmlewis has now fixed it.
