How to mount NTFS volumes? [ Not showing in fstab ]

Hello,

I want to mount 2 NTFS drives from my machine.
Scenario as follows :

I have installed OpenSuSe 11.1 on 500 gb desktop SATA hdd which is attached to my laptop via USB port.

While installing OpenSuSe I removed my laptop HDD from bay. Now I put back in it. In “My Computer” section in SuSe I see those drives but it doesnt show details and when I click on it nothing hapened.

I dont see entry of those drives in fstab.

How can I mount those drives now?

Amey.

HowTo Mount NTFS Filesystem Partition Read Write Access in openSUSE 10, 11

pay attention to this:

/dev/sda2 /path_to/mount_point ntfs-3g defaults 0 0

That’s what you will need.

Do

fdisk -l

from a su terminal to see the drive info

Thank you so much.
I forgot fdisk -l command. I was just trying fdisk
Its now showing details. I know now how to mount it lol!
