Is there anyone who has made a vpn connection from opensuse pc/laptop, to another server over the internet? I would like to connect to a Juniper MAG with normaly goes through a pulse client (on a windows PC). But there is no Pulse client for Linux. So how should i configure that, i would by happy if anyone can help me. Regards, HKO
IMO what you’re describing sounds like it may be proprietary.
Recommend you ask Juniper what they recommend,
Or for further investigation on your own you will likely require
- The type of VPN technology involved.
- Are you able to obtain a VPN configuration file? Is one available from a working Pulse client?
The idea is that if you have a working config file, you can install the VPN technology from openSUSE packages, then modify the config file so it’s relevant to your machine and simply save the file to its proper location. With any luck, all you then need to do is fire up the VPN it’ll “just work.”
