How to make newsletter application of internet sites

hi,

I am building a website. I want visitors to sign to newsletter group at wish and send them regular newsletter montly. Should I write it from the scratch or is there any framework, or free (as in free speech :P) application that I can use for it?

My host gives me pop and imap support. And mail addresses, if that is realted.

If you use a CMS (Content Management System) like Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress for you website, there’s loads of them, as modules/plugins.

Hmm. No, I have created it from scratch with using codeigniter framework. Do you know if any of the modules can be rewritten to use separetely from the CMS it is originally written for?

Basically any module can. You would at least have some example. Since I cannot see what and how you wrote so far, hard to tell. These days I even use Joomla for a 2 page website. If functionality needs to be added, I download a component/module/plugin and adjust that to my needs if necessary.

There are many scripts available for free on the net(if you want free one). This one is the easiest one, you can configure it for your taste.
