hello,
I would like to launch Konsole several times during a session (because
I’m modifying the “.profile” file) and I would like to know the way to
kill the processus (for the “.profile” file to be re-read).
maybe I have to use a processus manager, but I do not know one.

Hi
You don’t need to kill anything, you just need to source it again after
your changes, in you konsole run;
.. .profile

strange: you said: … .profile (I means <dot> <dot> <space> <dot>
profile)?
when I try it the directory is going up from one level(there are the
two <dot>)…
can you confirm it is the actual command?
lolveley.
PS thank you nevertheless…and I’m a newbie.
