How to install VGA-Switcheroo on Suse 12.2 ?

Hello,

I have a laptop (Sony Vaio VCPSB) with two graphics cards ATI Radeon HD 6470M and Intel HD. I desire to switch from one card to another.

VGA-Switcheroo does not seem to be installed by default ? How to get there?

I use the free drivers. The proprietary drivers not functioning properly and crash my system (similar with nvidia on my workstation).

The installation of the graphics proprietary drivers are too buggy under linux. I had to reinstall my system several times for this reason.

Please publish stable versions of opensuse with integrated proprietary drivers, like Linux Mint and give us a real alternative to Windows uncomplicated to operate.

Good day.

if you must have integrated proprietary drivers to switch back and
forth, you will need to go back to Mint (or something else) because the
open in openSUSE intends that no the proprietary drivers will be in
openSUSE prior to shipping, ever.

sorry, i don’t have an answer for the question in your subject, but it
has been covered previously, here:

Thank you for your answer.

To make linux more atractif, it must be easier for the user. Have drivers that work are needed for that.

I’ve done some research on the web for vga_switcheroo, I have not found anything that works, which is why I wrote this post …

Thank you to those who offer me ideas running and not creating this system crash.

Good day.
