hi,
I used to be a documenter for my company as training center that focusing on OSS solution. As a documenter I used VirtualBOX for my simulation, but normally I have to use Ubuntu because of the Shutter.
Can we install shutter in openSuSE 11.2?
Because I keep searching on how to install this snapshot screen in the openSuSE but it’s seem that openSuSE can’t support this apps?
Am I right? …
First of all which desktop?? It does matter
If KDE just press print screen and you get Ksnapshot.
Not sure about gnome.

Hi
I can’t see the error in the snapshot, can you quote the error text? Or
is that the issue, unable to scale the image?

Use Webpin or Software.openSUSE.org to resolve this. Perl comes up a lot. You will find it’s in a lot of repositories. You could go with this repository; Index of /repositories/devel:/languages:/perl/openSUSE_11.2

Here it is;

shutter needs some perl modules that seems not included in openSUSE
I follow the instructure in Shutter, the Only Screen Capture Utility Worth Using | Tuxrocket
build a rpm in my home project
if you want to test
use 1 click to install:
http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/home:swyear/openSUSE_11.2/shutter.ymp
another packages recommends: (optional not requires) gnome-web-photo nautilus-sendto
work for me in my 11.3rc2 lxde x86 laptop
not tested in other platform
