Hi,
Actually just started using suse 2nd day after founding that it rated as #1 for laptop.
But how I can make putty work on it, I read a lot of guru’s advices but still need a,b,c step if possible.
I did download gzip, created folder putty-0.60/unix , but I can’t use mkfile(s) on this, or what else steps I can do to start it either thru GNOME or CL?
inux-jeh8:/home/dainova/Downloads/putty-0.60/unix # uname -a
Linux linux-jeh8.site 2.6.37.1-1.2-default #1 SMP 2011-02-21 10:34:10 +0100 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Assuming you have packman in your repos, add that using YaST’s repository
management.
