How to install Postscript Type 3 fonts?

Title says it all. I know how to install other font types, but have a bunch of these I need to use.
openSUSE 11.1, KDE 4.3.2.

Sorry, that should be “Type 1”… That typo is so misleading that I might start a new topic in a day or two, unless resolved.
