I’m trying to install a patch but when I copy it into terminal I get message
" /home/john/patch-modules_v62-opensuse.sh
‘vmware-7.1.3-2.6.37-rc5.patch’ not found. Please, copy it to the current ‘/home/john’ directory. Exiting"
But I have it in my home directory !
A patch of what, got from where, downloaded how? What openSUSE level?
Remind that patches in openSUSE are normal in the Update repo, and are anounced via the Update applet and installed via that or via YaST > Software > Online update.
Thus when you do different, please explain extensive because most people here can not see what you do.
(And when you use the Update repo, also explain extensive what you do and what you get. Never assume that others around the globe do exeactly the same as you and thus will understand you from a vague description.)

I repeat:
A patch of what, got from where, downloaded how? What openSUSE level?
