How to install Mesa 7.1 and related packages?

I need to install Mesa 7.1 and its related packages. I’ve found them in a SuSE repository (OpenSuse Buildservice X11:XGL), but Yast only sees the 7.0.3 version, while trying to update from the web page gives me error messages about 7.0.3 being required by some other packages. How can I get this upgrade installed?

Thanks,
James

i think what you mean is X11:XOrg, not X11:XGL. CMIIW.

to upgrade XOrg from 10.3 to 11.0 (Mesa 7.1), there are two solution.

first, use this repositories :

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/hjtenberge:/XOrg/openSUSE_10.3

second, you need to upgrade glibc to 2.8.14 and then you can update Mesa
to the latest version.

Thanks, but that doesn’t seem to work. I can only see the 32-bit versions, not the 64-bit that I need.
