How to install latest version of FileZilla in OpenSuse 11.4

Hi good day

I have installed Opensuse 11.4 and works perfectly. I am happy.
I have also installed FileZilla for my FTP work.

Well by the way: in earlier times i have used WinSCP (see WinSCP :: Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows )

questions: Can i import the keys that i used earlier times in the winscp!?
and another guestion: How can i install latest version of FileZilla

Currently I have version 3.3.4.1 But I want to install the latest version of FileZilla FTP Client.

love to hear from you

You’d probably have to import the keys again…

But why not use dolphin or konqueror for SFTP en FTP. Easy and ready to use on a KDE desktop. Nautilus on GNOME can do both too.

Currently I have version 3.3.4.1 But I want to install the latest version of FileZilla FTP Client.

If you installed Filezilla from a repository (not from source), then the following command should update all applications installed in your system (not just Filezilla and not just openSUSE) to latest available. If the website says a later version has been released, it might not have been built for openSUSE yet… Recommend waiting until a version is built so you can automatically update instead of manually re-installing later.

$ zypper update
