How did you try? In YaST software management it should be easy to find under “Graphical Environments”. Check the box in the left column. When you do, you should see most boxes checked over on the right. You can add or remove those on the right side, then at the bottom click “Accept” to have those selected installed.
“deepin” is an entire linux distro not a desktop environment to be installed into another linux distro. You need to run deepin OR openSUSE for your main linux. I did run deepin as vm in openSUSE for a test. Not very impressed so I deleted it. I don’t know what you saw regarding deepin being installed as a desktop.
To load mate, which is the desktop I use, open yast software management. Click on “view”. Click on “patterns”. Page down and you willl see mate desktop environment. Click and install.

You may run the Deepin distro, or you may add the Deepin environment to Leap. I did what I described before composing comment #2, except I aborted instead of applying.
No such action was required to show deepin packages to me in yast2 sw_single on 15.4. It’s in standard repos. All prep I did for composing comment #2 was zypper ref, then open YaST2 and scroll down to “Graphical Environments”.
No “reversion” involved. The superuser terminal was already open for other reasons. Plus, zypper ref does a superior job of informing of what’s happening, using the whole window or screen instead of frustratingly inaccurate graphics. The only reason I opened YaST2 was to be sure of what I should write in answer.
Yes, but your answer then does forward a confusing message IMHO. Either you advice people how to do someting in the CLI, or, when you think the user is a more GUI loving person, you tell him how to do in YaST. Now the OP may think he has to open the CLI and use zypper to be able to use YaST.
My message wasn’t directed to an OP, but to an unnecessary, and likely undesirable, action, suggested by a different poster, concisely recounting something I did do, not suggesting something anyone else should do.
Correction to my earlier comment. I was unaware that there is both a complete linux distro called “deepin linux” and there is also a desktop environment called “deepin”. I did run deepin linux in a vm for testing. Now deleted.
The deepin desktop environment is available in openSUSE 15.4 repos through yast and also zypper. To install through yast software → Pattern → Graphical Environments → Deepin Desktop Environmental
Likewise as above for the “mate” desktop based upon the original query.
