How to install AVM Fritz Card DSL on OpenSUSE 11.1

I just can’t install the AVM Fritzcard DSL on my System.

Can anyone give me a point-to-point how to?

Is it really so difficult to install this piece of hardware? >:(

I’ve tried to install the capisuite.
But when i try to start the capisuit via the “runlevel-editor” under yast it says: "…capisuite start returned 6 (program is not configured)
So… what do i have to do?

Dunno how these devices work, but you have an old article in opensuse wiki
about this card:

SDB:With 9.1, Fritz DSL SL and USB SL Cards Are Not Recognized

Just try by following the step indicated in the above article and setup
using isdn yast module.

Hm…
Here in Germany this card is/was very common because of the DSL+ISDN combination.
But - as with all Hardware - we Linux-Users are “at the mercy” of the hardware-producers giving us the drivers for their products.

I will try out the noted Article.
Stay tuned… :wink:
