How to install ati driver

Hi all,

I have a Gateway laptop here.

Being so used to having nvidia cards laying around here, I got used to installing nvidia drivers. I tried doing the same on this laptop, but I cannot locate the ati drivers through Yast.

Was wondering how do I install/upgrade the ATI drivers on this laptop? It has a Radeon Xpress 200M vid card.

Heeter, I have a Gateway laptop with the same ATI 200m graphics chip. I can attest that the ATI proprietary driver works pretty good with my setup, so you should not have any major problems with getting it to work.

Let me know if you have any difficulties.

Right now, my sysinfo says that it is “unknown”.
