Hello.
The computer is a linux-windows11 dual-boot system.
There are two nvme disks. Disk 1 of size 931 GiB and disk 2 of size 476 GiB
Windows 11 was installed first and is running.
The linux partitionning has been already done when installing 15.6 previously after installing windows 11 and must be kept as is.
There is an EFI partition for windows created during windows 11 installation
There is an EFI partition for linux created during linux 15.6 installation and wille used during 16.0 installation.
I try to install 16.0 using agama over the existing linux partition scheme.
The linux partition scheme contains 19 partitions.
All linux data has been removed using a 15.3 USB live system; partitions have been kept.
Concerning leap 16, Disk 2 (476 GiB) contains :
linux swap Partition type swap
linux / Partition type ext4
and other partitions for windows 11.
and Disk 1 (931 GiB) contains :
/boot/efi Partition type FAT32
17 partitions of type xfs
/home Partition type xfs
I have read that.
That does not help.
I could not find rules to use the partitioning scheme shared across multiple disks.
I have /boot/efi on one disk and swap and ‘/’ on another.
And how to be sure that agama will not destroy all the partitions used by windows.
It’s there, just delete the proposed partitions with the trash icon, select the disk partition you want to use for /boot/efi add the path, tell it not to format. Then proceed as required with your other partitions, then review the changes and you can select the partitions you don’t want touched with selecting do not modify.
I have tried.
But I cannot find a way to switch between the two disks and go through all the disks configuration.
Nothing tell me about the rest of the Windows partitioning which must be untouched.
I am afraid of loosing my windows configuration.
Where are all the apps that we got in YAST CONTROL CENTER.
I look after the app that configure the boot loader, Firewall, User and Group Management, etc …
