How to install 13.1, 64 with nvidia GeForce7025/ nForce630a ?
Problem is, after installing from install DVD the Monitor shows up an unusable weird pattern
and I can not access yast or apper to install the nvidia “2” drivers.
thanks wally

Login to “Icewm”. You can select that with the menu for KDM (login screen).
The chances are that graphics will be okay in Icewm. Then use Yast Software Repositories to add the nvidia repos. Then install the driver (I think you need the G02 driver). Then reboot.
If the graphics are unusable in Icewm (unlikely, since the installer used Icewm), you can add “nomodeset” to the end of the grub2 boot line. Hit “e” on the boot screen, and scroll down to find the “linux” command. Add " nomodeset" to the end. Then use the appropriate key to continue booting (the screen will tell you the keys). That will get you in with lower resolution graphics, but enough to add the nvidia driver.
thanks a lot, I’ ll try
