in yast software there was an option to install a local repo where put rpm files to be installed, is it possible to have this in myrlyn?

Opening Myrlyn->Extras->Configure Repositories, hitting add, giving a repo name and valid filepath, does at least add the local filepath without error.

And this is implemented since over a year…

I am enjoying Myrlyn on openSUSE Tumbleweed, but I miss a feature I use sometime… s: the installation/update of packages from local RPM *files*. This feature is implemented in Yast via the command `/sbin/yast2 sw_single [RPMFILE]+`.
And it is even documented in the Myrlyn docs…

# Repository Configuration in Myrlyn
Myrlyn now supports configuring repositori… es:
- List them with names, priority, enabled status, auto-refresh status, software service (if configured), URL
- Change priority, enabled status, auto-refresh status of the selected table item directly below the table
- Show the URL with and without libzypp variables of the selected table item like `$releasever`, `$arch`, `$basearch` below the table
- Add a repo with any custom name and URL
- Add a community repo like _Packman_, _Open H.264_, _LibDvdCss_, _nVidia_ with well-known URLs, using the specific URL for the currently installed distribution / product (Leap 15.x, Tumbleweed, Slowroll, SLE-15 SPx)
- Edit name and URL of a repo
- Delete a repo

How to get there: Menu "Extras" -> "Configure Repositories" (`Ctrl`+`Shift`+`O`)
## Adding a Custom Repo
Click the "Add" button:

Enter a name and the URL.
You can use libzypp variables like `$releasever`, `$basearch`, `$arch`. When you start doing that, the URL with the variables expanded is displayed below the URL field. Hover over `$releasever` at the bottom left to see the current value of other supported variables. `$releasever` is useful mostly for Leap and SLE so you won't have to adapt all your repo URLs when upgrading to the next version (15.5 -> 15.6).
The repo will be loaded, and you may be prompted to accept its GPG key, at the next program start.

## Adding a Community Repo
Click the "Add" button, then select "Community Repo" and select one of them:

You can edit the name and the URL. Be careful when changing the URL!
## Editing a Repo
Select a repo from the repo table, then click the "Edit" button:

## Deleting a Repo
Select a repo from the repo table, then click the "Delete" button and confirm the confirmation dialog.
## Double-Clicking in the Table
You can change the enabled / disabled or auto-refresh status with a double click in the table.
Double-clicking on the name or the URL in the table is a shortcut to selecting the repo and then clicking "Edit".
## Read-Only Mode for Non-Privileged Users
You can also use the repo configuration window as a non-root user. Of course you can't change anything in that case, but you can view the repository table.
## Caveat
When repos were changed, the program needs to be restarted to reload the changed repos (and unload the packages of repos that were disabled or deleted). Myrlyn will notify you about this and quit from the repo configuration window`s "Close" button if needed.
You will get a warning pop-up in the package selector window if you try to start the repo configuration and there are any pending package changes; you might lose those changes if you continue to the repo configuration, do changes there, and the program needs to be restarted.
In that case, consider closing that warning with "Cancel" to go back and apply the pending changes first: Use the "Installation Summary" view to see what those changes are, then click "Accept" to apply them and on the summary page use "Back" to go back to the package selector and then start the repo configuration again.
## Limitations
### Scope
This Myrlyn repo configuration offers the common repo operations, not all the exotic ones that also exist. If you need to configure software services or manage GPG keys, please use the `zypper` command line or, if your organization has them, tools like _SUSE Manager_.
### Community Repos
Myrlyn has a number of community repos and their URLs built in for common SUSE distributions:
- openSUSE Tumbleweed
- openSUSE Slowroll
- openSUSE Leap 15.x
- SLE-15 SPx
It does _not_ attempt the several stages of indirection used by YaST:
- Read (parse) the `/etc/YaST/control.xml` file to see where the XML file for that distro is
- Download that XML file, e.g. https://download.opensuse.org/YaST/Repos/openSUSE_Slowroll_Servers.xml
- Read (parse) that XML file to find where the _other_ XML file describing the community repos is, e.g. https://opensuse-community.org/openSUSE_Slowroll_Community_Additional.xml
- Download _that_ file
- Read (parse) that file to get the URLs for the community repos
That's way too many indirections for the absolutely rare case that a community repo is added or removed, or its URL is changed.
Compare with the current code in Myrlyn:
https://github.com/shundhammer/myrlyn/blob/master/src/CommunityRepos.cc#L212-L248
Even if you don't know how to program in C++, you should be well capable of making sense of this, and even to change, add or remove a URL.
