How to get rid of translucency and change font colour

I use the opensuse Look and Feel, plus Oxygen Desktop Theme with my own pastel colour scheme. I find this combination is less intrusive and glaring on the eyes. The only problem is the extraneous garbage called translucency with the panels - which includes the app menu and can be very confusing, especially with a slideshow desktop. Also, I find the white font on the panels to be intrusive.
So, I’m wondering if it is possible to change these to a solid and pastel colour respectively - without changing any other settings?

I am using openSUSE 15 with KDE and an NVIDIA 970 graphics card.

Any assistance would be much appreciated, and I thank you in advance.

One option for translucency is to toggle desktop effects globally with ALT+SHIFT+F12. If not, there may be a specific setting for this in system-settings>desktop behavior>desktop effects, check it out.

For font color, in previous versions you could personalize colors in system-settings>color>edit scheme button. Not sure about LEAP 15.
