How to get OpenSuse grub loader back?

I’ll just get to the point.

I had dual boot Windows 7 and OpenSuse Leap 42.2 as my main OS both installed on my SSD and everything was working like a charm. I’ve decided to install Kali Linux for experimentation on my HDD and gave it 25GB. Everything went well, except Kali’s grub loader was installed as default.

That wouldn’t really be a problem for me if it was only graphically, but I’m noticing a major prolongation with my boot time. Also, after booting into Leap, KDE’s behaving really weird the first 5secs and there are random lag spikes which weren’t happening before. I somehow have a feeling that my Kali on HDD is slowing down the boot, although not sure why.

Any propositions are more than welcome, if you need any more info feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance,
Sargaxon

Hi welcome,

All you have to do is boot into openSUSE, start Yast-System-Bootoader, and hit OK. It will reconfigure and rewrite the bootloader configuration.

OpenSuse just continues to amaze me. lol!

Thank you very much!
