How to get my TV card (WinTV-HVR 4000 HD) tuned on DVB-S2 transponders

After some difficulties I succeeded to run this TV card under SUSE 11.1 with kaffeine 0.8.8.
Everything works fine except for that the card refuses to tune on a DVB-S2 transponder. (For Example TP 11 on Astra 19.2E)
The terminal output looks like this:

Tuning to: Das Erste HD / autocount: 1
Using DVB device 0:0 “Conexant CX24116/CX24118”
tuning DVB-S to 11362000 h 22000000
inv:2 fecH:2
DiSEqC: switch pos 0, 18V, loband (index 1)
DiSEqC: e0 10 38 f2 00 00

Not able to lock to the signal on the given frequency
Frontend closed
Tuning delay: 3082 ms

But the card seems to able to play HDTV, because the HDTV channel on TP 101 on Astra 19.2E can be seen.
On this transponder most channels are DVB-S, so it seems to work.

Who can give me some useful advice?

I fixed the problem already.

For some reason the precompiled package Kaffeine 0.8.8 for SuSE 11.1 and 11.2 was built without DVB-S2 functionality. I found in the sources a DVB-downgrade patch.
So I built the kaffeine 0.8.8 from the sources without this downgrade patch and now everything works.

It would have been better not to give this SuSE Kaffeine package the version number 0.8.8 when one of the new features was ripped off. Even worse that there seems to be no hints anywhere.
