Is the new version of KDE available for TW? How do get the repo?
I downloaded and booted the latest live Argon iso earlier today. And it is already at Plasma 5.16. I presume that the latest Krypton is also at 5.16.
My plan is to wait a few days. I expect that 5.16 will arrive in Tumbleweed very soon. But if you are impatient, you could add the additional repos used by Krypton. They are listed in this page:

It’s out now in the stable channel, unstable one would not help at this point. Hoping for a new ISO then with KDE 5.16 in the box.
Please be patient, KDE 5.16 is in openqa testing, as soon as it passes openqa it will be in the new snapshot, i.e. 20190612
Dimstar announced 20190612 about 20 minutes before Knurpht’s post, so it’s on TW mirrors now.
The download rate for the latest stable Kernel (.rpm) in Yast is 30b/sec, average is 8.6Kb. They all seem to be over-saturated. Plus, dup is a no end loop.
Download.opensuse.org’s mirror redirection system currently broken. Select a specific working mirror in *.repo to work around. I’ve done multiple upgrades to 15.1 and TW from SE USA today with no delays using this method.

That’s a misunderstanding, and the uname output is fine.
With kernel 5.7.1-1.2, the last “.2” is a compile number. If the kernel is recompiled, it will be “.3” next time. But the actual kernel files will just show 5.7.1-1.
In any case, Plasma 5.16 seems to be working fine here, though I have not had much time to test it.
