How to fix Windows 8.1 no bootable device - restart system

Hello, when I was sleeping with my laptop on my chest, I woke up to my laptop going in a windows 8 auto repair loop. I went to the advanced options menu and was given the option to delete all disk partitions and files on the hard drive, I used this but then I wanted to cancel. After clicking cancel I shutdown my laptop, when I turned it on it sent me to this screen.

No bootable device – Please restart system

I entered the bios and restored everything to default, the bios showed that my hdd was obviously working but whenever I boot my laptop it keeps displaying the screen saying.

no bootable device – please restart system.

Also need to note that when I purchased my laptop I was given no disk or anything all I recovered was a manual my laptop and my adapter.

My model is Toshiba Satellite L50D-B.

Part number: PSKUCA-01800S

I bought this laptop in Australia.

Heres some photos of my problem. http://imgur.com/iThTIqJ,9HhuF3O

You should consult a Windows specific forum for Windows related questions, such as Eightforums at http://www.eightforums.com/

Where do I post my problems I can’t seem to find a proper place to seek help on the site.

Sorry, you are completely on the wrong forums here.

We do not cater for Windows. Many of us do not use Windows. We use openSUSE.
I do not know how you landed here, but something went awfull wrong there. Like asking how to cook mutton on a Vegetarian forums.
