How to find / compile new Evolution version >3.6.3

I have several bugs with Evolution 3.6.3 and would like to upgrade it. 3.6.4 fixes the contracts auto-add bug. I’d like a more stable Evolution-EWS as well. Evolution has released 3.8 recently.
What is needed to upgrade to a new release. I can find no how-to except. Evolution project has many pieces. Not sure if I need them all, or just some of them.

Any tips. Is there an RPM somewere to upgrade. Hard to believe I’m the only one wishing there was a more stable release of Evolution out there.

Hi
I have a maintenance update on Evolution to 3.6.4 todo, hopefully get
on to it tomorrow, so it will appear in the update channels.

Great.

Not sure what can be done about the Evolution EWS. It seems to stop doing directory lookups intermittently. If I exit Evolution and kill the backend threads and let them restart, it comes back to life, and email addressing autocomplete works again. That’s why I was curious on what it would take to upgrade to 3.8. Is this in lockstep with Gnome, or can you upgrade just Evolution. Is there a specific order to compile and install? Data Server first, then Evolution, then addins?
