How to defer update Thunderbird 78

(plugins)I have read that once you started 78, there is no way back to 68, unless you use a backup.I do not want to lose mails and/or functionality so I want to keep the current 68 for the time being. What is the best way to accomplish this in Tumbleweed. So that I can keep using zypper dup without scanning through all changes for a possible unwanted upgrade.
