I have recently started having problems with kde-look.org http://forums.opensuse.org/network-internet/392405-trouble-kde-look-org.html . I sent an email to see if there were any known problems for US users. Frank Karlitschek from opendesktop.org wanted me to send him a traceroute, and any other debug info I could. I know how to run a traceroute, but nothing else. Pinging the IP address shows 100% success. What other apps/ways are there to debug something like this?
You could send him a complete trace of the packets in a session using wireshark (a packet sniffer). You’d have to qualify the packet capture to those from or to machines in the kde-look subnet to keep the data relevant.
