How to customize Gnome menu ?

Hi there. I wonder if it is possible to customize the Gnome “main manu” (maybe “kick of menu” not sure I use the right term :frowning: ) I would like to make it look organized like in Ubuntu 9.10. By default the menu there is positioned on the left top of the screen and nice organized in software groups. Can I make Gnome look like this in suse 11.1. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Hi
You just need to right-click on the panel and select ‘Add to Panel’
scroll down the list and select ‘Traditional main menu’, then you can
right-click on the existing ‘Main Menu’ and delete it.

If you wish to go back to the ‘slab’ menu, same thing except ‘Main
Menu’ in the list.
