I’m using nnn, which is a file manager “inside” kitty, which is a terminal emulator like konsole. Fast to navigate, especially with regard to huge network shares with thousands of folders.
If I open a file from nnn, a PDF e.g., kitty keeps the focus. But I’d like to have the focus jump to the newly opened document. Is there any idea how to do that? Can I tell Plasma when to change the focus?
Look at the KDE settings: Window management ==> Window behavior ==> Window behavior ==> Window activation policy.
I always set it to: focus follows mouse cause as soon as I move the mouse cursor over another window, that window gets the focus automatically without the need of clicking in that window.
