how to create central repository for patch management

hi

i want to create Central Opensuse repository for Patch management just like WSUS in windows,which automatically downloads Updates/Patches and distribute to the Clients locally.

Any idea ,tutorial …

Use rsync to sync openSUSE’s updates from their server to a local server.
Make that a cron job.

Then use that as a repository for clients that can, again via cron job,
pull the updates.

I used to do that times ago due to lack of bandwith.
It’s not a problem anymore so I would gain nothing with this arrangement
si I’ve given it up long ago.
