How to control the transitions of application windows

Just install openSUSE 11.1 using the KDE LiveCD and did not do any special settings yet.

When switching desktops, the transitions of the application windows is rather random, flying from left to right and from top-left to bottom right …

  1. Couldn’t find the controls for changing the transitions.
  • Any idea where is it located?
  1. Is it possible to enable transitions in KDE

are you running compiz?
if so, open up a terminal and issue the command
“ccsm” thats the CompizConfig Settings Manager, you should be able to find the Expo and Shift-switcher (thats where it is for 11.0, havent looked in 11.1 yet)
