How to connect to DSL

Nobody is bothered to reply and I am waiting here very sad :frowning:

Hi and welcome to the forums

Does this mean that DSL is your not only possibility to connect to the internet ? How do You connect with your phone some EDGE/GPRS/3G network ?

Did You read and tried this already ?

New: opensuse 11.4: where is linux-atm-lib package? - opensuse-bugs.opensuse.org - ArchiveOrange

Hello abhisheknag

I am very sorry for you, but you hit a known bug. See here:

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=668586

There are quite a few duplicate bug reports on the same issue. The suggested work-around is:

A temporary solution is to install the package linux-atm-lib (from opensuse
11.3) in console by hand with the command “rpm -i linux-atm-lib*”, downloaded
from the opensuse 11.3 repo.

The bug should have been fixed in yast2-network-2.20.12 if you can pull this in somehow.

Some additional workarounds have been suggested on the German speaking forum (for those who can read it):

11.3 > 11.4 YaST, DSL, linux-atm-lib
