hi, mates. Please, help in point how generally to change the hostname. When the system was istalled the there was given random hostname and i am wondering how to change it.

I’ve always changed the HOSTNAME, if need be, under:
YaST > Network devices > Network settings > Hostname/DNS > Hostname
-=welcome=- new poster…
try YaST > Network Services > DNS and Hostname (or Hostnames)…
YaST has some built in help which may or may not be enough for
you…if not, begin here
