How to change my computer name?

Hi!

This is my 1st day on openSUSE, so I’m not used to some things. For example, on other distro’s I could select my “computer name” and this name would appear on applications such as Steam. But somehow my “computer name” is set to my DHCPCD, which is dynamic, so it changes everytime my IP changes. Here’s what is displayed on Steam:

Notice the characters inside the circle (bbb5f4a4)? How do I change that to whatever I want? I edited /etc/hostname to “junior” but it didn’t help.

Junior

I normally use:

Yast → Network Devices → Network Settings
and click the “Hostname/DNS” tab.

Thanks! YaST -> Network Settings -> Hostname/DNS -> Then uncheck “change hostname via DHCP”.

Junior

I forgot to mention that. Sorry. But at least you found it.
