Have you tried running gdmsetup and see if you could change it their?

i try gdmsetup ,it says “command not found” ?
do i need to install some software?

Make sure you “su -” to privileged user before trying to run gdmsetup.

Gdmsetup hase been gone for a while now, since the OP is on 11.1 you
need to look here at section 5.4;
