Hello,
I would like to install opensuse from hard disk, using GRUB4DOS (or other bootloader). My old notebook has broken cdrom and does not have support for boot from pendrive/external disk.
Anyone tried this installation? I have installed Mandriva/Mageia exactly what I’m saying.

Thanks!
What I would do in this case, is creating a partition on the notebook’s harddisk, edit current GRUB config files to boot from that partition. That way you would install from the HDD that’s already in the machine. Note. this only works when a working linux install is on the notebook.
