How to add "custom" programs to openSUSE Gnome start menu?

Hi there,

I’m working with a “custom installed” software (Moneyplex). How can I
add this software to the openSUSE 11.1 Gnome start menu?

Thx,

You need to create a custom-application.desktop file in
/usr/share/applications. Just have a look at existing files to get an
idea of the structure. You can create those *.desktop files with a text
editor.
