Hello again!
I spent the last few hours by trying to access the web interface of my CanoScan 300 machine. Usually I did it with IE (years ago…), but this apparently updated within the last years to IE11, which does not allow to access (even a LAN) an http page (tried disabling HSTS, tried adding secure locations, tried disabling autocomplete, to no avail).
I can reach the website on the Canoscan via telnet to see it’s still there (after so many years of not having a look…). But Konquerer (latest) or Firefox (latest) or Palemoon (latest) all try to connect via https, which simply will not work on this machine.
Is there any chance in 2019 to access a local http page?
