how ? Persistent Live Opensuse thumdrive

I want to create a persistent Live opensuse thumbdrive.

1.One way is to install opensuse to thumbdrive. But,that will not be live. Will standard yast installer make the thumdrive bootable automatically?

2.Is there a way to,say, retain the drive as a live medium, but to be able to save documents, mail, choice of wallpapers etc.,? Ubuntu variants allow it,but,I want opensuse kde.

Thanks in advance.

This is possible. You have to create a 2nd partition in the stick. See the following link:
Live USB stick - openSUSE

Thanks.
I happened to see the community wiki after posting here.
