How long until Firefox 3.0.7 and Opera 9.64?

Hi All,
I found it quite disappointing that openSUSE after more than a week after Firefox 3.0.7 and Opera 9.64 security updates openSUSE didn’t update our computers.

Do you know what is the reason behind this?

And please do not send me to the Mozilla repo as one of my friend or ask me to download manually Opera because this is defeating the purpose of having an Update repo.

Please help me understand why this security issue >:(

Regards,
Radu

I have

SUSE/3.0.7-1.2 Firefox/3.0.7

It’s from Build Service repo:

widehat.opensuse.org

I don’t think that Build Service repo is a default repo and updates have to be in the following URL or I’m missing the whole point of the update repo:

widehat.opensuse.org

Just add the repo below:-

widehat.opensuse.org

That is not the point.
Opera update is not there and these updates should be in the Update repository and I should not fish the net for repos.

As in the Updates there is already update for FF and Opera openSUSE should update that one with the security updates.

Then you’ll just have to wait a bit longer then - if you’ll only consider the ‘Update’ repo.
Advice given, take it or leave it.

Do we look like Novell to you? No? Thought so.

Practically everyone on this forum is a volunteer - we have no power over which updates are pushed out and how fast and as such the only thing we can do is point you to the location where you can acquire the software that gets the job done.
