How get openSUSE to reopen a LibreOffice document on restart?

If I have a LibreOffice document open when I shut down my computer, when I later boot back up, the document is always closed! Even if I do a “save session”, it still doesn’t open the document back up. How can I keep my work open across boots?

Hmmm… I just started LO Writer and began typing a new document, then shutdown mid-document. When I fired back up openSUSE, and launched LO, there was my document as I’d left it. I don’t have KDE configured to save sessions.

LO is not a KDE product. When you tell KDE to restart those programs that were running in the desktop during logoff, it wll try to start those programs on login. But if those programs have any idea about what they where doing when stopped last time is in the design of those programs. It is not even sure that programs stopped by signals when loging off, do handle that in a secure way (but I assume most do save info in their memory to files, etc. as most do when you kill the window instead of using the Close from their File menu).
